Cape Overberg
Saturday, 31 October 2026 | 15:00-22:00 | Hermanus
There is a specific kind of afternoon - an effortless intersection of the French Riviera and the Western Cape - where the wine stays chilled, the conversation flows, and time feels suspended.
On the Benguela Cove Lagoon Lawns this October, we are bringing that atmosphere to life.
Welcome to the Blue and White Party: a beach-club-inspired celebration set against 2.7 km of private waterfront within the Kogelberg UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Expect estate-grown wines, freshly shucked oysters, and a coastal-chic crowd. As the music carries you toward the horizon, watch the sunset transform one of the world's most pristine landscapes.
Blue and White Party Tickets
Early Bird - until 19 September 2026 | R750 | Welcome MCC, wine tastings, grazing canapés
Standard - from 20 September 2026 | R850 | Welcome MCC, wine tastings, grazing canapés
What's on at Benguela Cove's Blue and White Party?
Gates open at 15:00 with a welcome glass of Benguela Cove Cap Classique. From there, the evening moves at its own pace.
The line-up:
- 15:00 - Arrival - welcome MCC pour, live oyster shucking station, acoustic guitar
- 17:00 - Live music - Music to help give that Ibiza feel - the sort of music you feel before you notice it
- 19:00 - Dessert bites - mini pavlova, white chocolate and lemon posset shots
- 20:00 - Wind-down - chill, the lagoon doing the rest
- 22:00 - Doors close
A Feast of Seafood and Wine
The menu keeps things fresh and unfussy. Guests can enjoy a selection of canapés from 15:30 - smoked salmon blinis, prawn ceviche spoons, goat's cheese crostini, crab tartare cups and more - with vegetarian options throughout.
The hero pour is Cuvée 58, our Cap Classique made from estate-grown fruit. The free-flow selection also includes Cuvée Rosé, our award-winning Joie de Vivre, and a rotation of our Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
Guests can also purchase any Benguela Cove bottles on the night at 15% off, and wine club members enjoy additional benefits.
Dress code
White and blue - think linen shirts, flowing dresses, nautical accents. Elegant, relaxed, and easy to move in. The lawns are on grass, so choose your footwear accordingly.
